TRANSPARENCY
Editorial Policy
Edinburgh Solar Hub is operated by Scot Energy Efficiency Ltd, part of the Scottish Energy Efficiency network. All content is reviewed by the Scottish Energy Efficiency editorial team.
How we check our facts
Factual figures on this site (generation yields, VAT rules and funding information) are checked against their primary source before publication. Sources include Ofgem (ofgem.gov.uk), MCS (mcscertified.com), the City of Edinburgh Council planning portal, and SP Energy Networks. We do not publish prices, savings or grant amounts: prices are confirmed on your written quote.
How often we review
Pages carrying funding, VAT or tariff information are reviewed regularly and whenever a policy change is announced. The “Last updated” date on each page reflects the most recent review.
Our role
Edinburgh Solar Hub is an impartial advisory service and introducer. We do not install solar panels, battery storage or heat pumps ourselves. We install through MCS-certified partners. Certifications referred to on this site belong to our installation partners, not to us.
